I don't know if it's the same case in other countries (probably yes) but here in Germany the teacher must let you go to the toilet. If they don't and you piss yourself you can charge the teacher for violation of fundamental rights (the honor of a human being is inviolable) and for minor bodily harm. Another good thing is that teachers must announce exams at least 2 weeks before you write them. For learning control as far as I know only 2 days

Well, at my high school (in America) I don't think any teacher would keep you from the bathroom if you were on the point of, as you say, pissing yourself. But I've had two classes in which your participation grade would be penalized (idk by how much) if you went more than I think three times a week. Also, during exams only one person can be out of the room to go to the toilet at a time.

Growing up in Arizona & already graduated from my high school (Tucson High), I NEVER had a bad experience with Substitute Teachers. Only my worst experience was going through Stress & Depression. My bad headaches were students' lousy behavior, the use of drugs, and having sex. There was a lot of fighting. A LOT. What were they thinking?! Good thing I never want to go and get involved.
