Unlike many commenters, I wasn't there, I wasn't listening to this in 1994. I'm finding it here, now, in 2024...and it sounds as fresh, vital, and urgent as it probably did back then. My only sadness is that it seems people are less interested in dancing their faces off and are more interested in watching the DJ and taking pictures. Living for those rare moments when the entire club is there just to dance as one.

ich hab sie heute noch... Der Dritte Raum live at HR3 CLub Night ist und bleibt bis heute einer meiner am häufigsten auf Tape gehörten Mixes. Alle paar Jahre ziehe ich ihn mal wieder raus und freue mich diebisch:) heute noch legendär und m.E. auch zeitlos und besser als vieles, ach, das meiste, was 30 J. später an elektronischer Tanzmusik produziert wird. Der Sound damals, der Trance, Acid-Trance, revolutionär. Und Sven und das kultige Omen, einfach genial. Das war noch Underground, die die Besten Tracks hervorbrachte, unerreichbar mit dem heutigen Techno. Wenn es zu großen Massenbewegungen sich entwickelt, geht leider immer vom Ursprung, dem Feeling und der Qualität und der Innovation viel kaputt. Es war eine außergewöhnliche Zeit und Musik 😊👍✊

I was born in April 1994. So I was only a few months old on that July night when this set was played. I only started going to techno raves at the age of 26, in a totally different world. Something must have been in the air that summer of '94 though and it awoke in me after all these years...

90ger bis 2000er waren xtase des Lebens. Ein Miteinander wie es so in Deutschland wohl nie gab und es leider nimmer geben wird. Die Musik war Bombe aber an erster Stelle stand die feierwuetige Meute die alles im Sinn hatte ausser Stress. Das ging leider verloren und heute steht ein jeder da und feiert sein Handy und sich selbst weil er ja auf der Party xy war und alles auf Sim hat.

Das lief bei der Fahrt von und zur Love Parade 94 ständig im Auto bei uns. Ich erinnere mich an den silbernen Väth auf der Parade und später waren wir im Bad was auch geil war. Wollten keinen mehr reinlassen aber wir hatten Karten vorbestellt und sind dann doch reingekommen. Gute Zeit 1994. Beste Love Parade für mich persönlich. War dann noch 95 und 97 aber es war nicht mehr so. Es war schon zu überfüllt und die Stimmung war auch nicht mehr so gut.

eh dude, this set is more average than proper. ive seen sven väth live @ mayday 94 and mayday 95 and his sets there were much more energetic. this on the other hand is a hr3 clubnight recording. hr3 is a german radio station that was going with the techno hype in the 90s and broadcasted popular djs with a saturday night session for those who could not efford to go out into clubs. needless to say those sets were rather mediocre compaired to the live sets on raves and clubs

Okay jetzt bin ich von allem befreit ausser hin und wieder mal ne Sport Zigarette und nen guten scotch Whisky ist da nix mehr ich hab mir irgendwann mal etwas Sport zugetraut und seitdem trainiere ich 3 mal die Woche um fit zu bleiben um die Figur zu halten usw werde 42 Jahre alt und will noch ein bisschen Leben obwohl ich dazu sagen muss das ich erst seit 8 Jahren die kurfe bekommen habe war zwischen zeitlich auf Heroin hänggeblieben zwar nicht geballert irgendwie wollte ich das nicht aber der Affe kommt trotzdem hatte glaube zu tun mit meiner Ehe die kaputt gegangen ist durch die vielen krassen Jahre und jetzt nach knapp 10 Jahren geht's mir wieder halbwegs gut.

NIE annähernd bis zum (Voll)rausch, oft Corona Extra😉, was sonst, nix genommen...k. A, k. E, k. H, k. K, k. M, k. S (bin ich aber auch froh, vllt. habe ich in gewisser Weise auch etwas verpasst, habe ich aber auch nicht vermisst, wie auch), rauche noch nicht mal....war dabei aber trotzdem immer in anderen Sphären bei der geilen Mucke, that was my only real drug. Mache zwar k. Sport, habe aber z.B. auch noch k. Pocke, wie viele in dem Alter. Aber alles Gute für Dich, mach auf jeden Fall weiter so! Greetings...

its 2022 and we should kepp in mind, this stuff is aprox. 20 years old. We should cherish this piece of music and try to preserve it. What I really miss about electronic music, there are no basically no published records of awesome sets played in clubs or at raves

This set is 90s techno/trance fire. This is how it's supposed to be, a connection of feelings and emotions played from the DJ to the crowd that takes you on a journey. The faultless infinite sound makes you forget there's actually a DJ there it's that good. Plus Turkish Bazar @25:27 is just epic 🤙
