I loved the "Beware of the squirrels!" sign....! I've been to Versailles a couple of times but never to Peterhof. I'd like to go there but also to Pushkin and to the Catherine Palace. Generally I prefer Moscow to St.Petersburg but places like "Kuskovo" in Moscow (although well-worth a visit) can't compare to the palaces that St.Petersburg has...

Absolutely stunningly beautiful and the Peterhof was beautiful, as well. 😉 You truly did a magnificent job with this video, Svetlana and the music fits the topic you presented. I think this video should be entered into a competition, because it is a fabulous presentation and exquisite visual clarity. Two thumbs up! (Kiss 💋 back.)

A highlight of my trip to StP. With the added excitement of travelling from the city on a Soviet era Hydrofoil Jet..... And the summer storm that rolled in from the Gulf of Finland out of nowhere, what a Tempest.

Such splendor at Peterhof. Is one even able to see everything this park offers in one day? The park looks huge, bigger than Central Park in New York City, USA 🙂

Amazingly beautiful especially with the fall leaves on the trees. On second thought, it's gross that Kings had that much power and money to build such a palace.

I had the opportunity to spend a winter vacations in the residences, that used to be the horse stables of the palace. Outstanding place in winter, but even better in the summer time, when you can appreciate the beauty and scale of this magnificent palace and its gardens, the hundreds of water fountains. Honestly, there maybe only one or two sites in the world, comparable in beauty to Peterhof Palace.

Very nice report! I think it would be great if you also make a video about the quiet places (toilets) in Russia. I think that would interest a lot of tourists. I know this topic is actually not for pretty Russians. But it would definitely be a topic that interests me in Russia. Where can you find these places? What does a visit to the toilet cost? What are the opening times? What do the toilets look like from the inside?😀

I can't get enthusiastic about this place Svetlana. What does it represent? Greed? Selfish opulence? Vanity? It just another way to exploit the poor and remind them of all the money that was stolen from them. Actually its quite beautiful Svetlana. Maybe a bit too kitschy in some ways. Why can't they offer some healthy food? I guess its quite pretty walking along the rows and rows of trees.😊👍 Anyway thanks for taking the time to video this place. It's a lot of work and I appreciate your effort Svetlana. Its just that I hate this vulgar display of wealth and opulence while most of us are struggling to survive. 😂👍

I keep asking myself; “ Why are you so fascinated with Russian tourism channels? “ and I just answered myself; “Self, of course you are fascinated because you are in love with the peoples of ex-USSR countries. Ukraine, for example. One thing all these channels have in common is that they don’t share the devastation and genocide that Lennon and Stalin and their Bolsheviks wreaked upon the peasants of Ukraine. The Holodomor which killed millions in Ukraine which to this day Russia denies even happened trying to rewrite history. The brutality of Communism that lives on in infamy will not be so easily erased. To this day the people of Ukraine who feel it is important to remember set a candle in their windows on November 27th in remembrance of this genocide. But as modern day protocol dictates, many don’t even acknowledge these things and have no recollection which would make them feel uncomfortable. Woke Marxist professors in todays universities teach dumbed down altered history as to not bring any attention to these atrocities of communism. I’ve just made a decision to unsubscribe from all these channels that glorify Russia and ignore its horrific past.

I've been to high St Petersburg and Moscow. St Petersburg is like Paris and Moscow is like New York. There are so much to do in St Petersburg. The winter palace and Armitage museum Marineskey theater, the bridges, chruches and after midnight sunsets are fantastic. In Moscow, only the Kremlin and subway stations were interesting for me.
