Erica was great in this episode. She had to act so different then normal- this version of Lois was so annoying but it was also so funny (especially the dance xD). Erica showed that, she can play everything :))

Although Lois was under a spell, she still spoke from the heart. She always felt like she wasn't good enough, for anyone. And you see it in Clark's face when Lois said she was leaving, he wasn't going to let her go. And when he admitted for them being together, you saw he had a moment of clarity. He can't be without her.

The barn scene with a manipulative but unraveling Lois and Clark who gets roped into a proposal only to realize that’s what he actually wants is a genius piece of writing. It’s one of the most complex scenes in the show. So deceptively simple yet complex. The acting is topnotch. And this episode deserved an Emmy for a musical arrangement, so it’s a bummer that Smallville was under-appreciated for its actual quality.

I love when Lois asks if Clark really means it. He says "I do" and you can tell he is answering honestly. Lois can instantly see that Clark is telling his true feelings. When she kisses Clark there is no guilt or shame in Clark's kisses as if he'd given a deceitful answer. His kisses are warm, receptive, engaged, he wants to be close. A sign he is telling the truth. Look how happy Clark is that she kissed him! Instead of berating him like Lana and saying she doesn't believe him, Lois takes him at his word and you can tell my Clark's kisses he is grateful, feels understood and accepted.

Clark além do pouco tempo que ele está com Lois, ele mostra que tem certeza que quer ficar com Lois,e nenhum ,momento ele fica indeciso ou com remorso por está mentindo ,porque ele não a está, ,ele fala o que sentia realmente,a diferença desse Clark com Lois e com Lana ,e que Clark com Los ,ele é mais confiante e sabe bem o que quer !esse jeito dele ser mais durão que antes com Lana e porque Clark ,aceitou seu lado criptoniano e tem mais certeza de seu dever como herói e como ele mesmo falou Lois o deixa mais forte, e a confiança dele aumenta,com Lana ele não tinha certeza se eles ficariam juntos ,quando Lana volta ela faz juras de amor a ele,que eles ficaram velhinhos juntos ,Clark faz uma cara que não tem certeza,com Lois e uma certeza,até no final desse episódio Clark fala que Lois e a pessoa mais confiável, que ele conhece ,acredito que mesmo que não contou de seus poderes ele realmente acha isso,tanto que a culpa no final mostra isso.

I watched an Erica Durance interview and she said this was her favourite episode to film in this season because she got to act so different. Personally I strongly disliked the episode. The 4 seconds of kissing was great but I didn't like how Lois acted in the episode. I like her when she's herself and not this annoying obnoxious hypnotized person.

oh, sorry to hear that you are only on Season 8, but to be honest, they just went on a break here, so Season 9 was getting really good, but nothing Really Important has happened beyond THIS scene regarding Clois, so you haven't missed much ;-) If you love Clois, like I do, then Season 8 and 9 have DEFINITELY been the best... enjoy season 8, no rush... we won't get new episodes here until April :-(

well, they have only been dating for 5 or so episodes, not sure how much time that has been, but say it has been a couple of months... I don't think you are a perv :) And I'm pretty sure that they will be together sooner (next episode) rather than later (before the series ends :) I definitely think they are headed in that direction, their relationship is new... and very sweet to me... I don't count the future sex, cause she hasn't actually had sex with this Clark Lol - just hang in there, it's coming! ;-)
