Wow! Incredibly beautiful! What a performance of the greatest maestro of all times! Everything he touches becomes gold! What a technique! It resembles a bit the sound of the harpsichord, but this much more beautiful. Thanks for uploading this!

So much joy, elegance and beauty, by one the GAOT of the piano. Not a famous suite from Handel, compared with the "Great suites" very overlooked IMHO

So clear, clean & bright, a tonic for the heart & mind. So grateful to hear the work of a genius, Handel, played by another, Richter.

"Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day!"

Richter is the pianist who most inspires me. Theres a rather wonderful youtube peformance in which Gravilov is seated beside Richter ( turning pages ) , peforming the keyboard suite in D minor ( with variations )

Sviatoslav is going to be remembered to be the pianist in history. A truly holy person. He helped a lot of people ( and is still doing so despite his departure) to overcome their mediocrity. May God reward him accordingly.

I'm studying this suite, and this video is so interesting to help me to understand the parts of this music. I also listened to Amaral Vieira execution. He's a very good pianist too. I almost played the music to the end, it needs only the last part, that I think it is the Gigue. I already played the Gigue, but it is not good enough till now but I will study more.

This is my first exposure to Handel's keyboard music. Handel was most noted for his operatic compositions (the famous castrati operas). But these are good on the ears. And anything Richter played is worth your time. Richter remains the GOAT in my opinion.

There is a quite famous piece well known by those who leaarn playing piano: his passacaglia in G minor, a quite simple but efficient piece. The secons piece of this suite is also classical to lern piano, but architecturing the two musical plans is touchy. Richter is of course excellent here. . When played on harpsichord, the issues are quite different.
