Good morning.....I just saw your video andI ma curious. Why does a truck such as this need a two stage pump?

Wildland fires can have LONG hoselays or uphill pumping. Pressure selection allows you to pump at higher pressures, while GPM stage is higher volume, lower pressures.

The narrator and film producers got it right, it is an ENGINE, not a pumper. Don't believe me? Read the ICS (Incident Command System) materials required to get a "Red Card" rating for Wildland Firefighter 1. Someday the departments in the eastern U.S. wil fully adopt ICS

nice brush rig, but why a 500 gpm pump? for iso should have been minimum of 750 gpm. Shame to throw money away like that and no benefit to your city iso.
