SVN Basics - Core Components and Installing Visual SVN Server

Hello George: While going through the SVN Basics: I expected Module 1 will go through the Settting up the SVN Server component and users etc. Where was that section? Module one just explained what SVN is. Where is the Server Installation section. Then Module 2 junped into the Client installation, ans said "..module 1 covered the installation of the SVN Server..!" That never was covered..'FAKE NEWS?" Please let me know where is the Server Install and User Setups?" -Thanks

So, wheres the Installation? I was just wondering because I don't want to use my primary desktop storage just yet but an external 10tb instead. I just had a question if anyone could answer here. Location of the installation obviously I'm going to put it in C, but Repository, likes said in the video is the storage for the files that are managed through out the team. So my guess is that I should be fine putting this on my external right? the backups Im sure I can because its just backups. Is this ok?

Why not just use GIT?, it's easier and way more powerful, and doesn't waste files duplicated versions when only delta changes are needed. What's the point/advantage of SVN?
