Hello Jedi. I have noticed that though i think its protection layering. The t4 protects layers below and above to what depth am not sure maybe 4 layers. thats why when t4 are not cleared the t3 t2 t1 are not touched. above t4 i think they protect up to t8 or t9. Similar logic is applied to the t12 t10 protecting the t13( not sure on this). I need to see reports with t16. But a shield i was planning a big one to test that though it may take a while. You have 5m t4s. That’s not a “meat wall”, that’s a slightly large layer. They’re not doing anything for you, positive or negative, right now. If you decide to build 20m or 25m at your size, you’ll understand just how bad they can be. You pretty much just got somewhat fortunate to find a guy who doesn’t really know what he’s doing, to hit you.

I came here to say this too. I'm only K40, and I've come across K37-38 keeps with in-city siege buffs 300%+ lower than my attacking siege buffs. They had 20-25M T4 siege. I gained 160M-200M points for each hit and only lost 114M for my 3M T11 siege. Rinse and repeat 3-4 times and I've easily cleared my SvS boxes and I'm 138M-344M net positive on points. T4 siege in bulk = no no, unless you're a heavy coiner that needs it to defend against big rallies. But in this case, you're already going to have bulky layers. If the person attacking Jedi was stronger, and Jedi had 20M+ T4 siege, it would be a different story.

@@mgentile589 I also just realised he doesn't actually have any siege anyway. His top layers are super skinny, he has a small amount of t11s, and then for some odd reason thicker lower tier layers. Either way, with that amount of siege in his keep, i don't see anyone that knows what they are doing, hitting him with siege. Ever. He just doesn't have enough points on offer. Now if he was going to build 20m t14s, that changes. I would hit him all day every day for the free points.

I just wiped 84 million t4 seige when a k40 decided to ghost his top tier seige in SVS. I went positive 400 million in points. T4 troops are 8 points per million. I’m not a whale either. Just a plane Jane k42. I highly recommend not making more than 5 to 6 million

7:45 please confirm which buffs tier 11 inherits. I thought tier 10 was highest tier eligible for flat statistics. I thought tier 11 and higher receives boosts from percentage based statistics.

A gold attack flat on t11 translates to roughly 23% if i recall correctly.

All troops get all buffs. A T1 troop with 500 attack will do better with a flat 500 refine stat. Because it's 100%. But a t14 with 10,000 attack 500 flat is only 5% so you would rather have a 20% refine to get like 2,000. T11 is the tier where it changes. Some t11 stats are still better with flats, some are better with percentages

@@kshuburner also keep in mind that flat point buffs cannot be debuffed. So if your enemy can reduce your percentage buffs then flats may be better for you anyway even for higher level troops

On ranged rallies your t10/9 siege are what do the bulk of the killing. I have an incoming solo 4200 attack I took this weekend in svs. I didn't lose a single troop on the defensive side and my t10/9 siege did the bulk of the killing. I can show report if need be

A lot of folks hitting it on the head. Do not build out a fat wall of t4. When I see 30M+ t4 in a keep with low siege buffs, coming at you with a t11 solo. Also bigger thing, power exchange spread ≠ SVS point spread. I’ve seen just this weekend a guy get 2B+ zeroed and attacker lost 600M. SVS point spread was less than 1B. Each troop has a per unit weight in points. There’s not an even difference each tier increase (click Get Scores tab on SVS and scroll down). SVS is the purest definition of “Evony Math”

5m is a standard layer not a "meat shield" lol. Nobody is debating that t11s hit t4s first but I'm not sure if anyone knows exactly how many turns they take on the t4s. The question is if you had 1m instead of 5m would your power loss have been even less.

@@Dbl_OG_13 sometimes I do. Sometimes they have multiple rallies of different troop types too. And if im reinforce and they see I ghost, they won’t hit.

Hmmm am thinking not ghosting just improve mounted HP buffs. A city is defended by multiple troops. look at expedition. The challenges with all troop types are the hardest. Jedi this will be for another debate.

Mounted didn't kill more than siege at top level. Ground kills range...that's why it's higher....come on...t4 siege is not worth it...

@@kshuburner siege are easy to target. Because you can attack “over” all of my other troops and get results. Soloing any other troop type would be a bad result for the attacker.
