A Laika, Hellboy movie is what Ive been thinking about for years, especially after watching Missing Link and Kubo. Although the 2019 Hellboy wasnt that bad, I do think a Hellboy live action should be done similar to Watchmen with mixes of X-Files and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Frustrating to hear about the wishy-washy nature of the publishing industry these days, but at least I’m grateful that self-publishing is a viable option (I can’t imagine what it’d be like if it wasn’t, especially in today’s market.)

The publishing industry sounds brutal, if I ever reach that hurdle I at least know what to expect though, as the self publishing hurdle was brutal enough 😅 I'd be curious to know from you guys: how much time and energy have you put into learning and practising the craft of writing when it comes to writing your own stories? Do you have 20 finished manuscripts and then you pick one to make into a dummy? Or do you jump on the first good idea you get? I haven't heard from writers how many manuscripts it takes, on average, before they manage to write something brilliant.

When Jake said the publisher wanted the girl mechanic character to be a boy i crused so loud, my neighbour started banging on their wall. I knew this would be the critique as soon as he said it's a girl. Publishers still believe that boys won't read and/or empathise with female characters. I think it goes back to a study from the 70s or 80s which had already been proven wrong 10 years ago when i looked at it for my degree in special education.

I would say Cornhole is more popular cuz you don’t have to be athletics AT ALL to play Cornhole! 😂😂😂 Literally anyone can play regardless of size, shape, lung capacity!
