I still think she became one with the force upon falling into the Sarlacc. What else explains that burst of light and energy? Plus, kinda seems like she fell into it on purpose. A la Ben raising his lightsaber for Vader to do the killing blow. Perhaps she knew that if Starkiller saw her disappear, he'd report it back to Vader... thus spoiling Obi-Wan's heroic and triumphant distraction on the Death Star.

Actually, this is the theme that plays in Episode III when Vader slaughters the Separatist leaders on Mustafar and Palpatine establishes the Galactic Empire ending with Vader looking through the railing with tears in his eyes. Also the mid part is when Anakin rushes to the Chancellor's office when Sidious and Windu fight, the last pit is when Palpatine screams "unlimited power". The beginning however is custom.

I still think she killed HERSELF. When all's said and done, Starkiller had only one CERTAIN kill, Kazdan Paratus. Rahm Kota got away, he spared Maris Brood, and Shaak Ti fell back into the sarlacc. And of course he didn't kill Darth Sidious or Darth Vader canonically. Pretty poor record for the 'scourge of the Jedi', 1 out of 4, he had more luck killing other darksiders!
