He retired a number of years ago. Probably 6 years ago. I know he had some knee surgery and has recently played some senior ball.

Wait, what? How did Wegman's run end up counting there at the end? I get that he crossed the plate before they doubled up buddy at 1, but that shouldn't matter since it's a force play, right?

It is a timing play, the runner doesn't have to run so you have to get the runner out before the run.

#26...said it in the other vid, but he lost the game for them...twice. If he was standing on the bag for the double play (28:07), he could have gotten the third out before the run scored and won the game (and then again looking at strike 3 for out number 3).
