I just read a article about it, I'm a huge fan of India and his amazing nature/landscape and it is really horrible to see how dirty the streets are. It's a great idea from the Prime minister to evolve everyone to clean up. Hopefully it will stay like. If you can't clean up any place then atleast don't make it dirty. It is the easiest way to be a part of this movement. I have met many people who say what difference does it make if I throw this small bit of paper in this tonnes of garbage on the road, at the railway station and so on. I try to explain them that everybody keeps the same mindset and throws the garbage which slowly turns into a pile of garbage. Somebody has to stop somewhere. This is an amazing effort by PC, lets keep this going. #swachhbharatabhiyan

I believe, contrary to many people here, rather than amount of work and followers involved, Priyanka's work is more powerful in its approach. She is effectively lending her celebrity status and positive image to the campaign, which would inspire more and more common people, organization and governmental machinery and get more people behind the campaign with passion. This particular video and discussion happening here is a very example of that. Her solution towards the problem, if not noble is sustainable. If successful, nominating the high weighing organization and individual to kick start the 'chain of changed mentality' can be very impactful. I whole heartedly welcome PM's campaign on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, his approach and positioning in including some ~1.3 billion people in the campaign is welcome strategic departure from such governmental campaign. However I believe planning for such a task is not in place, I am not sure whether resources are in place at local departmental level or not. DOES government have a plan to sustainable manage 42 ml ton of garbage produced each year, I am also skeptical where the 10 truck garbage from this effort end up. My good wish thinking says government has a plan, but cynical me is still skeptical. I am waiting to be proven wrong (finger crossed).
