I don't know what's real and what's rendered any more. It would have been nice to see the real Charles in this video 😉

Wait, how many years of Swadge did I miss? Don't know what it is, but I want it! Would you mind if I post your video in our steam group chat area?
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
You may freely post any of my videos anywhere! And we've been doing swadges since I think 2016 or 2017

@@CNLohr Cool! Do you have a page where all your VR stuff can be gotten? I remember your pong-ish game and would love try that with others in our JoinUsInVR steam group. (especially if its multiplayer)
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
@@JoinUsInVR The VR Engine is cnovr - but t his demo uses cnovr as a submodule. You can see the code for this in a link in the description.

Hey, hi, I don't speak English very well because I'm from Argentina, I was watching your video from a few years ago, do you have any instagram or something to contact us? The question was, how do you program a server in something so small, I would like to do it for a school exhibition, and it interests me too much
@CNLohr3 жыл бұрын
It takes a while to learn more basic stuff first, but start with projects and just keep going you slowly learn tricks to make things smaller.

How would we go about getting one of these little beauties
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
It'll be a bit but everything'll be available from MAGFest later this year. I'll probably do another video then.

How did you simulate that software in vr? Is it a vr concept version or did you port it somehow?
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
You can actually run the swadge emulator, then I used shared memory to make the screen, LEDs appear in VR and buttons to feed back.
@billiejean37484 жыл бұрын
@@CNLohr the swadge emulator?
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
@@billiejean3748 Yeah, we can compile the swadge games to target a PC or android-based target. So it can "emulate" the ESP8266 game system on those targets.
@billiejean37484 жыл бұрын
@@CNLohr what is the display used on this swadge? Im guessing the build for the pc target uses a completely different rendering engine/pipeline.
@CNLohr4 жыл бұрын
@@billiejean3748 It's a 128x64 pixel OLED display. It actually uses the exact same pipeline, the difference is when shifting the pixels out of the frame buffer, it just shifts them onto the shared memory array.
