@@johndoee4435 when the battery is in good condition it should last 30-50 minutes, the nice thing about this scooter is that is very easy to get it modified so you can add a second battery (external) since there is no data cable from the battery to the controller ( some scooters need firmware hacks to do that)

I have this scooter i weight around 240 pounds Max speed i get is 19.5 mls It last around 45 mins When i go up hill i try to push it with my feet so i help the motor save some battery 🔋 It goes like 6 mls Distance then dies Chargers like 4 hours most Is a nice scooter just check the screws every now and then because they get loose sometimes stay safe and enjoy the ride.

Purchased one of the Swagger 5 ss or Elites last month. So far I have had about 10 minutes on it. It's a POS!!! #1 The power supply that came with it got scorching hot to the point I was afraid that it was doing to cause a fire. So I called and had to wait a week to get another power supply (This after the CS agent right away said for me to return it for a refund. WTF?? I never said anything about a refund. - SO. Finally got the new charger, charged it up, went out on the street practicing before I took it out on the road, but it felt a bit sluggish . So the back tire is solid so it does not need air, the front tire is tubeless. I checked the air pressure, and there was no air in the tire. I tried 3 different bike pumps and none of them would allow air into the tires. Finally after playing around for 3 days I got it pumped to 28psi, but it went flat seconds later. I did this about ten times before I had to call them again. Their first response was that they were going to send me a "Specially" formulated sealant for the tire (Tells me they know there is a problem. Another week of waiting and nothing showed up. Also no e-mails or tracking number. I purchased a bottle of SLIME, however the Valve Core Stem would not come out at all. I had to take the scooter to a Auto shop. They fixed that for me. Filled it with SLIME, followed all direction, put a new valve stem in, tried to inflate the tire to no avail. Took it to the gas station and used their air compressor. As it was inflating it showed the PSI as soon as I removed the nozzle the tire was flat. Tried this over and over. I gave up. Called Swagtron and demanded a pre-paid retrn slip and I wanted a full refund. Did much more research on the internet and more that half of the thousands of people have had the SAME exact issues I did. It's a shitty product. DO NOT BUY!!

@@BeckersReviews At their recommendstion. But since it was just the power adapter and not the vehicle itself I refused. I just wanted a new power adapter. But before all that he told me to send the adapter back so they could look at it but I had to pay to ship it. Also I did not want a refurbished power supply. The CS put me on hold to ask a higher up, when he came back he was very nasty sounding. As if I was putting him out of his way. Also. I don't know why your asking this but I did not, at that time before even using the item, want to send it back for a refund! Who suggests that?

@@BeckersReviews I am taking the refund now but I didnt see, at the time, any reasoning why that was put on the table when it was just a faulty power supply. Especially after all the positive KZbin Vids. It's the horrendous number of bad reviews on review sites, that matched the same issues I was having, that made me finally call and request an RMA for a refund.

This or the Gotrax GXL V2? I like that the Swagtron has the app and phone holder and supports a 100lbs more (even though I only weigh 130lb). But I've been seeing the range is better on the Gotrax.

I got this scooter and I would advise one to change out the back tire to a honeycomb variant and you will be better off because the one that comes on it flattens on some areas when you break because this scooter doesn't offer a e brake. And also the front tire add some slime and your good to go. Hopes this helps someone thinking of buying. Got mine on Wal-Mart website with two year insurance so I'm a 100 percent happy with my buy.

The only issue I've come across so far is that it rides very hard over the littlest bumps, and makes a loud bang sound. They really need to put a shock on the back.

@BLOODY FACE Mine went out in the first 3 months. I replaced both tires for hollow solid tires. And the banging sound its your battery inside that might be loose.

I have one on order. The range does sound disappointing, but for me 5 miles is sufficient. I have a 3 block (each way commute to work) so no problem. I need to go 1 mile round trip 2 or 3 times a week and once a week I have slightly less than 4 mile round trip commute to do laundry. So 5 miles of range is sufficient for me. And I won't be using full speed. Probably about 10 mph so that might even extend the range a bit. For a long distance commuter (4 to 5 miles each way) though, this probably wouldn't be the best solution.

@@BeckersReviews I'm no lightweight. I'm about 250 lb or so. So I don't expect a huge amount of range. 5 miles is fine. There is a slight incline one way on the 4 mile commute, but it's nothing major. a degree or two but mostly flat. And that would be slightly downhill on the other way so it evens out.

@@BeckersReviews i did a little test ride a little bit yesterday, the max speed i got was 16.2 mph, but it was on 2 batteries since i only charged it for around an hour, but i love everything so far on it, the breaking is spot on for me, speed is acceptable, the app works all good for me, and so far nothing damaged or broken, however i bought a 3 year warranty if theres anything that becomes defective :), thanks to you i picked the right scooter!

I also ordered one of those solid airless tires to swap out the front tire since people have commented that theirs usually goes flat within a short time of buying it. I live in San Francisco and plan to use it to ride from my local Bart station to my job which is about 2.5 miles away then I will recharge at work and shoot back to Bart after so about 5-6 miles per day on flat ground. Since you have one do you think it would hold up well in that regard? I'm 5"6 and weigh about 150, I'm just trying to get an idea of what to expect you know. Any advice you can offer is greatly appreciated thanks in advance!

@@herb0321 I wish I weighed 150lbs I'd probably get more miles! You'll be fine, that's exactly what its designed for. Just not so fast uphill, but otherwise you'll enjoy it. Your front tire may hold up, mine just never held air. The tubeless tire works great, but it does make for a bumpier ride.

The Swagger 5 without of doubt, is the worst product I have ever bought. It only lasted for 3 weeks. Everything about the scooter, including just standing on it is flimsy. The handle bars a loose, the control is loose, i feel so unsafe riding on this thing. The battery life is terrible. It drains down so fast. 1/10. I would recommend staying away from this scooter, and buy yourself a scooter that is high quality.
