Swain's back- he never even left though! It's so nice to see positivity- the subreddit for Swain has been on perma doom and gloom mode for ages- despite how good he's been for what feels like three solid seasons now! He has lots of versatility in builds, runes, and smart play and positioning makes his e crazy. His passive is great too- the hp value is criminally underrated and so many detractors seem to forget it heals!

He definitely feels good, I think my biggest complaint is the power budget they put into his stacking. Really wish we could just get rid of stacking and go back to the old system. Maybe we don't need a soul to activate it, but if you have five like the old one then you can have a more powerful ult?

Husum, quick question, whats your intake in Going full mana, First tear then blackfire torch build path then rod of ages then malignance, its just from my experience in going support, only issue is my teammates feeding, although Blacktorch and Rylai's is better but experimenting at the moment of what build is good in swain support or its same build

Conq setup much stronger this patch, prob same strength as aery setup. I think theres better options than the tear items for swain so i would personally not build either of those.

Blackfire Torch provides damage outside of ult, which is a pretty good one because Swain deals majority of his damage with his basic skills not ult. Malignance R Haste value is not as good as Swain R ult CD is not that high to begin with, midgame you should have enough haste to compensate the malignance loss.

The thing about malignance is when you ult over a ton of enemies you can't cc all of them and they escape the malignance dmg radius. On the other hand Blackfire torch and liandris guarantees you dmg whenever u hit them .

probably it's because he's against ahri, which aery can be hard to take advantage of. also i think the adaptive force that conq provides do help increase the damage of blackfire torch, and all rows of precision tree have good choices now for swain.

Yellow tree is better now, Blackfire gives %ap so getting more ap (from conq) gives more value.
