I'm a support player, but after watching this video I think picking up mid is a better idea. But first I think I will try out conqueror instead of glacial and see if that works any better. Also, I've never watched such a long video without skipping parts, thank you for the guide!

Conquered is ok, but doesn’t give too much healing IMO to be worth it. Tbh I go grasp, demolish, etc and go precision for secondary rune. If you start E and auto after every root, you get quite a bit of extra max health along with overgrowth. Also only mythic worth buying on swain is Jak Sho. Tried building other mythics and am too squishy during ultimate. Not worth the minimal damage increase considering Swain damage scales horribly with AP.

@@markg2294 Yea, definitely go the defensive item route (even Radiant Virtue seems op) if you are one of the main frontlines.

Awesome video been maining for a few months and still learned a some things. Not sure if they changed something in the patches since the video, but another nice support option is Glacial runes and everfrost.

Wild Rift player: definately still useful advice, since i hear he might be part on next update! I predict Riftwalker whould be usefull for him, for the omnivamp, and true dammage over 3 seconds since you need 2 to ready his ult

A thing I learned w swain is using his W in mid game on the sidelanes to push them out, or break a slow push. You can be grouped up on midlane, or shove midlane to move to an objective and keep shoving the sidelanes without ever being there. No other champion except maybe yorick can do this, but he has to set up his ghouls. Really underrated and very strong in my opinion

Can someone tell me why an item like Riftmaker isn't consider for Swain? Or any omnivamp item really. I'm new to the game but noticed it isn't mentioned here, is the value of it just not as high as the items listed here? Thanks all!

he has healing and sustaining you just need to have dmg/burn/slow and tankiness in teamfights. also sometimes late game you will be out of mana

1) It gives no mana, and Swain, due to his inability to burst from 100 to 0 even squishies, often needs several rotations of his combo. Early to midgame he really needs bonus mana 2) Omnivamp only heals with 33% effectiveness for AOE attacks, and Swain is all about AOE 3) Liandry's burn or ROA's stats are too good for Swain to ignore them, while other options for mage and tank don't really give him much

They're both still viable. Go RoA if you need the tanky stats.
