নেতাজি সুভাষ চন্দ্র বসু একজন মহান ব্যাক্তিত্ব মানুষকে ভুলভাল বুঝিয়ে মহাপুরুষে বা "মহত্মা" উপাধি নেয়নি উনি নিঃস্বার্থ আমাদের এই আমাদের রাষ্ট্র ভারতবর্ষের জন্যে এই দেশের মানুষের জন্যে ভাবতেন কিন্তু নেতাজির ওই জনপ্রিয়তা দেখে ওই ঢ্যামনা নেহেরু আর মহা ঢ্যামনা "মহত্মা" নেতাজি সুভাষকে প্রচন্ড হিংসে করতো তাই উনি কংগ্রেস ছেড়ে বেরিয়ে গিয়েছিলেন আর পরে তো ওই নেহরু আর মহাত্মা মিলে সরজন্ত্র করে আমাদের নেতাজীকে খুন করে করিয়ে দিয়েছেছিল। এ তো গেল Nehru-Gandhiদের কংগ্রেসের কথা এবার ওই রাষ্ট্র বিরোধী, ভারত বিরোধী, হিন্দুধর্ম বিরোধী, দেশ দ্রোহী কমিউনিস্টদের কথা শুনুন মানে ওই দেশ দ্রোহী বামপন্থী গুলো আরকি। প্রথমে CPI, পরে CPI(Marxists), CPI(Maoist)এরা। ওদের বামফ্রন্ট সরকার যখন ক্ষমতায় ছিল মানে CPIM আমলে তখন ওই জ্যোতি বসু আর বামফ্রন্টের নেতারা আমদের নিতাজিকে বলেছিল "তোজর কুকুর"। এই বামপন্থীরা যারা দেশ উদ্ধার করার কথা বলে ওরাই আমাদের প্রকৃত অর্থের মহাপুরুষ আর আমাদের হিন্দুদের ধর্ম গুরুদেরকে নিয়ে ওসব কুকথা বলতো। এই বামপন্থীরাই আমাদের রামকৃষ্ণ পরমহংসকে মিরগী রুগী, পাগল বলে আখ্যা দিত, আমাদের স্বামীজিকে মানে স্বামী বিবেকনন্দেকে বলেছিল "ভন্ড স্বামী" আর "ধান্দাবাজ" বলতো এই বামপন্থীরা মানে এই CPIM/CPI) এরা।😊

The Swami's speech is interesting and entertaining. However, as Hindus, we cannot forget that the Bhagavad Geeta was spoken at the internecine Mahabharata war, and Arjuna and Sri Krishna were much involved in that war, regardless of what Swami Vivekananda had said in his lectures. In India, these warriors are amply glorified within the Mahabharata and also in the Bhagavad Geeta.

Sir that is true both Sri Krishna and Arjuna are warriors and they are in the profession of warrior bound to follow kshatriya Dharma. All lineage of monks in our Sanatan Dharma have reiterated again and again in their commentaries on BhagavadGita that the purpose of BhagavadGita is moksha. The message is moksha. It is a moksha-sastra. It is a scripture for attaining final salvation. The essence of Vedas live in BhagavadGita. And Sri Krishn is never urging anyone to fight exactly. Sri Krishn is telling Arjuna to follow his Dharma as a Kshatriya and the same message is for everyone to follow their own Dharma as per their quality and profession. Through following our own Dharma we lead a spiritual life and finally attain salvation. That is a clear message of Sri Krishn from chapter 2 onwards. We may use BhagavadGita for any purpose like management of life, corporate offices and what not. But BhagavadGita is not promising to give us 100% result in material life like even after following everything written in BhagavadGita one may or may not win wars, one may or may not win material achievements. One may or may not become famous or rich. But one is bound to find the truth of SELF by reading BhagavadGita again and again that means through bhakti or knowledge attained from BhagavadGita one would practice and understand and be delivered finally.

Thank you v. much for your comments. I would however urge you to give more importance to the original slokas rather than the commentaries. Sloka 2.3 was actually Vivekananda's favourite where Sri Krishna chastised Arjuna saying, '... do not yield to this degrading impotence. It does not behove you. Give up such petty weakness of heart and arise...'. After Arjuna argued why he'd rather not fight, Sri Krishna again rebukes him from 2.11-2.30 but these also constitute the kernel of our Hindu religion. Only in subsequent slokas 2.31-2.38 Sri Krishna talks about his specific duties as a Kshatriya, even warning in 2.36 that if Arjun doesn't fight, he's headed for ignominy. Thus, the same slokas could inspire us in our daily life struggles, though we aren't literally on a battlefield like Arjuna. @@anusuya_blissful

@@rajagopalchattopadhyaya4257 Sir if Sri Krishna just wanted Arjuna to fight the war or Sri Krishna just wanted human beings to fight our own individual battles, anywhere did he give guarantee that we will win. If BhagvadGita is only about Sri Krishna asking all of us to follow our Dharma and fight our own battles then what is so extraordinary about BhagvadGita? What is new in the message of Sri Krishna? Very ordinary lame message. Everybody knows one has to fight our battle, one has to follow ones' own Dharma. Bhishmapitamah also knew his Dharma. Yudhishtir also knew his Dharma. What was the requirement of Sri Krishna to come to the war and give such a big lecture of 18 chapters in the midst of battlefield. Just to tell Arjuna that you should fight war??? Silly isn't it. I must say then Sri Krishna is very inefficient. He is taking huge time and also had to give Vishwaroop darshan to Arjuna just to explain him that he should fight the war. Anyways, Sir you are free to take BhagavadGita as you wish. But my reasonings come from the commentaries of Spiritual Giants. Original shlokas have been explained by whom? Can you read Sanskrit by own self and explain BhagavadGita to everyone? Sir we refer to the oldest commentary available and that is done by Adi Shankaracharya and Adi Shankaracharya referred to commentaries written by His masters and the rest of the oldest ones are not available. Our Sanatan Dharm is based on Guru-Shishya Parampara and that is how lineages are formed here. If Adi Shankaracharya is writing something it has weightage and value. You, me or any contemporary living here right now is nowhere closer to Adi Shankaracharya. The reason is how do you know you have everything authentic? From which lineage generation after generation authentic knowledge is being transferred to you. In my case, it is the lineage of Adi Shankaracharya and actually any lineage here has indirect or direct linkage to Adi Shankaracharya. The entire credit of re-establishing Sanatan Dharm is given to him for he collected, compiled and re organised every bit of sanatan scriptures available to us. Sri Krishn begins from Chapter 2 explaining about Self-realisation to Arjuna. Sri Krishn could begin from explaining strategies of war to Arjuna. Sri Krishn could begin by explaining anything other than Brahma-gyaan but when Arjuna insisted for guidance by surrendering to Sri Krishna, He revealed Brahma-gyaan and how an enlightened person lives. Sri Krishn did not come to fight war of kurukshetra. He was without weapons and arms. He came because Arjuna wanted him but He also came to war because He wanted to come in this war and give the real message for the purpose of life. I have already written in my previous comment, one may use BhagavadGita just for the management of life but there is no promise or assurance from Sri Krishna that one will be successful in material life by following BhagavadGita. Sri Krishn has already said you are entitled to action but not to the fruits of action. Yes life is a battlefield and each one of us has our own Dharma to follow. For example, like many mothers, my mother is following her dharma of home-making and that profession she has chosen based upon her quality and nature. Whenever my mother is in dilemma or depressed related to some events in life. She will choose her Dharma and that is her priority and by following her Dharma she will lead a pious life and in BhagavadGita one step extra is told, practicing spiritual discipline along with following Dharma. So that the mind of the native can become detached after completing her dharma and submit all actions to Paramatma. What kind of preparation is being done here Sir? It is the preparation of "mind" in order to learn to know how to detach oneself from actions every single day and surrender to one's Ishta. That is the preparation for the salvation - moksha. In BhagavadGita, Sri Krishn tells Arjuna to not run away from one's Dharma and become monk because Arjuna's mind is not prepared to leave material life and become monk. If he becomes monk he will keep on thinking about the war and that he fled away from the war will constantly haunt him. Instead he should fight the war following his Dharma and start following spiritual discipline and surrender all actions to Sri Krishna. Why Sri Krishn is sharing in BhagavadGita about how to meditate, what to eat, how to chant? Why Sir? If the purpose of Sri Krishna was to encourage Arjuna to only fight the war then why will Sri Krishna talk about Gyaan, Bhakti? Sri Krishna is giving the message to Arjuna but through Arjuna the message is for us mortals. One of the main reason why Sri Krishna came to the war of Kurukshetra is to give the message we find in BhagavadGita. The message is very clear that the purpose of human life is Self-realisation. By following Dharma, attaining artha(resources), fulfilling kama(desires) but finally one has to walk towards Moksh and Sri Krishna gives emphasis on Moksha in every chapter of BhagavadGita that has to be the goal while following ones own Dharma.
