To accept the knowledge of God and follow it correctly, it is essential to surrender to a Sadguru, only he can remove our confusion and light the lamp of knowledge. Along with this, Guruji will tell us how to put that knowledge into practical life, what precautions need to be taken and will also protect us in every situation. That is, until God is found, we have to worship the Guru and surrender to him, our welfare is only in him. Because Guru and God are one and the same and not two different elements, hence the intellect should not differentiate between the two. Guru and God are one and the same.

Swamiji has detailed Verse -7 of Chapter-2 of Bhagabat Gita where Arjun asking Sri Krishna to guide him as he is unaware of his duties. He is unable to decide which is good or bad. He told that he is surrendering and as obedient disciple, Sri Krishna should enlighten him.
