used to hunt kai-east swamp between old and new calvin roads, someone asked about joyce. Just outside of winnfield. Called Dugdemona swamp, have both hunted and run survey lines through there, these are all in north central Louisiana, This kinda looks like the Atchafalya river basin down along I-10

Always point your camera to the north. The sun never hits the lens, that way, and you get no glare.

I use to deer hunt the swamp all the time, loved it, but the swamps here in Michigan dont come close to what i see here.

They are Great Blue Herons. An apex predator in my opinion.
