Me personally my favorite part of your show has always been watching you guys trouble shoot and fix equipment. I don’t think you will have any problem bringing in a decent paycheck on this platform doing just that. Even going to auctions after everything is sold and gone. I for one would watch you and your son fix stuff and maybe some of the old guys show up here and there. Keep on keeping on. You got fans.

Bobby...sorry to hear of your decision to shut down. As somebody who worked almost 40 years in paper industry and depended on loggers to supply us our raw material, it causes me pain to see this current administration making decisions with little forethought of consequences of their actions that are escalating closures and disruptions to many basic industries. I hope we can work together to make changes to this country that will begin making logical decisions with involvement of all parties.

Absolutely gutted that it’s come to this for you. I as no doubt have many others thoroughly enjoyed watching you all both in the original television series of Swamp Loggers & also on You Tube from here in the UK. If not for you & your team I would not have had the opportunity to experience, from a fly on the wall perspective, the trials & tribulations of a swamp logger & what the job entails. Whilst I know this is a decision you didn’t want to make & is one forced upon you, driven by the reality of the mad world in which we now reside & basic economics I feel very sorry for you & your family (blood & employees no doubt deemed one in the same) being forced to stop doing something you both excel at & clearly love. I wish you all the very best in your future endeavours whatever they may be & who knows god willing we may see you all further down the line. Thank you for entertaining us & for allowing us an insight into your world.

Loved your show and equally the people on it! A recent show on Discovery is called Mud Mountain Haulers, yes super dangerous in the mountains, they make it work as they own their own "small" saw mill. In Canada on Vancouver Island, where fuel has to me MUCH more than in any where in the US of A. Mind you they go up and down the island by boat and sometimes wrangle logs from the shore, RED CEDAR that are worth 20,000. Different opportunities in different places, but wishing you and your family the best for the future, keep working on your Health, it is a vital key to a healthy future!

It’s a sad day when a good family business like Goodson All Terrain Logging decides it is no longer worth it to stay in business. I really hope that the lumber companies see what is happening and pay a fair wage to get the lumber processed. I know the prices are not cheap when you have to buy lumber at the home improvement stores. Someone in the supply chain is making a huge profit. Normally not the guys that cut or process the lumber. You guys will do good in whatever is next. Be hard to see the great crew get split up. Thanks for the videos and sharing your time.
