🇨🇦 OMG! I love you all, and I never miss an episode of serpent invasion or swamp people since you's first aired on t.v. but guys I sincerely, and no offence to any of you, because like I said I love you all but I really think you's guys are fking crazy! The alligator hunting freaked me out and still does. I get the goosies with every alligator you's catch I'm on the edge of my seat and litterally hold my breath! Lol but you all catching these monster pythons blows me away! Lol. 😵 Lol you all have balls! I'm watching an episode of serpent invasion on t.v. right now and I'm so tensed up and have goose bumps the size of mountains! Lol what you's are doing is so important. But also it takes a certain type of man to be able to do what you's do with catching either alligators or these monster pythons! You all are those men. It's very attractive actually! Lol 😘 😂 seriously way to go guys! Love, love, love both shows! Sincerely from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦❤️

This 00:11:04 clip was more exciting than the regular 00:42:00 episodes. There can't be one person whose blood didn't run a little faster while watching this. Even though it's angering that the History Channel admitted to making up phoney history for their series, I gotta give 'em credit on this short. Good show, History Channel! Keep 'em coming. We all want these invasive pythons OUT OF THE EVERGLADES and we all want to see it while it's happening.

Do they have to catch those snakes alive? And, why if they are just going to be killed anyway? Also, don't they know that there are grabbers to use for catching snakes?
@TopTum4 жыл бұрын
The state pays them, and the ones captured are used for their meat. So the fresher(alive) the snake, the better the meat quality. I think they don't use the snake prongs is because out in the wild it might not be ideal, maybe in a control environment but since the terrain is treacherous the snake stick is not as reliant as your two hands.
@tritchie62724 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing they do. And that would be a deal breacker for me. I wouldn't mind trying the alligator hunting. But when it comes to grabbing hold of live snakes,I'm out.

They also give quite a few to research centers who need them alive. Not all, but there was an episode where the tracker ones that were chipped. They were chipped by the research centers.

I was told by a cousin from Florida some years ago that those snakes are an invasive species and because of that the state pays a fee for them, and it is a bit like lobster some bayou diner let you pick their snake for barbecue,...plus science research and privat zoos
@brianmc24622 жыл бұрын
been wondering what they do also, as watched so many eps and 1 other day they said dont damage the snakes skin?? so that are they getting skinned and eating the meat also??
@haroldchordash88324 жыл бұрын
It's funny that one of the snakes is suppose to weigh over a hundred pounds. Is there anyone out there that can pick up a hundred pounds with one hand and drop it in a sack like a dead raccoon. The Florida record is eighteen and a half feet and weighs more than a hundred and fifty and took like five people just to hold it.

This is all the result of 1990s pet store explosion. I remember ads in classified sections of almost any newspaper or publication speaking of Burmese pythons and Ball pythons. I wish someone who has any idea of what the biggest factor making this new habitat an even greater habitat for Burmese pythons than their home turf. I could be wrong, but that is what I have heard. Is it true that you can see these things often in areas where they have permeated? Anyone with data in their brain on this subject would be very much appreciated by me to respond to this comment with some details. I mean were they not far more difficult to find before they were largely released into the wild in Florida and Louisiana? These snakes get very big over time I can attest to that. I saw a 23 and a half foot monster that was only 27 years old in Dallas Texas around 2001 or 2002 in a guy's home with its own bedroom. They are the only breed that can reach the size or at least almost the size of a Reticulate python or an Anaconda I do believe. Can you imagine the surviving snakes in another 10-20 years? They are obviously eating well and harming the delicate ecosystem so I support these guys and anyone out hunting these invasive species.
