Sweet piece Doug. I build my metal lathe boring tools out of drill rod blanks and harden and temper them. Another good source of extremely good steel is a shock rod from heavy duty shocks. Just a thought. Love the piece and the colors.

Thank You Claire, roughly over night to 24 hours I really don't remember exactly, the pressure pot compresses the air that was mixed into the resin until it sets up and hardens, then it also helps to control the exothermic reaction
