Yea that stuff was no joke. I've definitely been there before. We got so stuck once it took 2 big ass monster trucks tied together to pull us out of a muddy clay river beach. We had just gotten to the park that morning and we were stuck until about 6pm.

You are very right. Wearing helmets is very important. We definitely don't do a great job on wearing them but when we go to parks that are pretty dangerous we definitely use them. There typically isn't too much elevation differences at these mud parks and the trails I take everyone on usually aren't conducive to high speed riding which minimizes risk somewhat. I do my best to try and keep everyone safe and keep them from acting too irresponsibly. All that to say there is still no excuse to not wear a helmet.
