Miami had Slip n Slide records...Trick Daddy's first album came out in 1997. Uncle Luke and The 2 Live Crew started poppin in the early 80s. JT Money was big in 1999! (Edit: Raise the Roof:1997. Naan Nigha and Shut Up 1998. Who Dat 1999!) You disrespected them all by saying Miami had no rap scene in the late 90s. Otherwise nice video.

A lot of cap in this video. New Orleans and Miami are cousins. When cities like Houston gave us the cold shoulder for Katrina (which ultimately lead to the crime rising out there), them Florida boys welcomed us with open arms. Not to mention, New Orleans is home to the creoles which is basically in the same family as the Zoe’s. We got nothing but love and respect for the whole state of Florida. 1Luv from the N.O

Lil Flip is the one that got pressed not J Prince. Getting pressed would have meant J came out of his pocket and paid right away bc the Zoes told him to. That's not what happened. Lil Flip paid them when they caught him slipping. Plus Flip was never signed to Rap A Lot. You got to understand that J Prince is like the overseer of the city when it comes to rap music, he does mediation for Houston artists when they get in over their heads if it's serious. Just a good hearted lady. Because of this i got a few bonus "older brothers" (in reality I'm the oldest) in my high school years. One of them was the homie Soup from Carol City. There weren't a lot Z's in Jacksonville at all but homie didn't give a FUCK and he repped hard as fuck basically as an army of one. For real a fearless but kindhearted dude. "Black Americans are the only ethnic group who have historically endured oppression in the United States without the option to flee to another country. In my opinion, Black Americans deserve immense respect for their contributions to building this nation, as their sweat, blood, and tears have been instrumental in shaping America's history. As a pivotal part of American history, Black Americans have paved the way for other black ethnic groups, such as Haitians, Jamaicans, West Indians, and Africans, to succeed in the United States. Therefore, I believe that these groups should acknowledge and respect the sacrifices and achievements of Black Americans."

For years I've tried to put it into words to properly explain it but its hard to do. This may sound strange but ive always gotten a weird strange vibe from Florida. I honestly don't know why but its always given me a weird feeling. I distinctly remember it as a teenager all the way up to the last time I was down there which was the summer before Covid hit. I always have a great time when Im down there and hope to settle down there when i can. My best friend in the world just moved to a small town south of Clearwater and absolutely loves it.
