killers and renegades, liars and thieves, i made a mechanisms animatic because i literally cant help myself ever.
i have been listening to swan song on repeat for maybe say idk 5 months and i am still stupidly emotional about siegfried and odette, so i made this video i hope it does the cool song bits justice because BOY is it a cool way to finish ttbt vol. 2!!!!!! its so cool!!!!!!!! ts and ashes singing together!!!!! TOP TIER!!!!!!!!! AMAZING PIANO, DRUMS, AND GUITAR!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU RAPHAELLA, BRIAN, AND TIM!!!!!!!! BADASS NARRATION FROM JONNY!!! WHAT MORE CAN YOU WANT FROM THIS!!!!!!!!
i have like. brain thoughts about these character designs so if you ever wanna ask me about them let me know...
im finally done with this 5 minute monstrosity thats half drawings of spaceships- which i found out that i actually rather enjoy!!! way more than consistently drawing characters apparently lmao oh well
if enough people bug me i might do the ignominious demise of dr pilchard because of that one bit with brian. i love him. hes my favorite. okay i might do it for brian specifically yeah okay im convinced its happening

beautiful, stunning, makes me sad, 11/10 longer thoughts: i love your character design and how you portrayed their emotions! especially also in the chorus when Odette looks at the screens and becomes upset, and Siegfried tries their best to tell her it's fine. and i like how the Odette (as spaceship) looks like a swan :)

I wanted to point out in particular their reaction when she keeps telling them that the escape pods are working and how Odette is crying and Siegfried has a sad smile throughout it with love in their eyes and you can just tell that they would never leave her behind, it's SO GOOD. I cried.

This is always the animatic that I come back to. I love all of your creations so much, but something about the beautiful art mingled with tragedy in this one is do completely perfect. Your character designs, the expressions, the incredible lineart- it's all wonderful, and suits with The Mechanisms vibe so well.
