Swanage Railway Winter Warm Up 4th January 2025

First railway visit of 2025 was at Swanage Railway for the Winter Warm Up event featuring up to 3 steam & 1 diesel on a January weekend.
Steam & diesels ran an two train operation with a freight service inbetween passenger trains with each loco taken its turn on the freight. Locos was fielded from the home fleet.
Locos featured was:-
SR Bulleid Pacific Battle of Britain class no.34070 Manston
SR U Mogul class no.31806
LSWR T3 class no.563
BR class 33 no.D6515 Lt. Jenny Lewis RN

When the branch was ripped up, it must have been depressing for Swanage and outlying areas. Times are again tough for the likes of this line. We neglect to support our favourite lines and the possible results are daunting.

how come the diesel at 3mins passed a signal at danger?

Points failure, I think signal issue too? Must had permission from the signaller to pass at danger.
