I am from Arunachal Pradesh and I have been studying in Mizoram (Lunglei) for the past three years and through this video i would like to share my experiences: Let me directly start with traffics😅 Absolutely astonishing. I mean how people just follow the traffics is beyond my imagination. Especially Aizawl where there are more vehicles than people 😂 and yet the traffics are managed without much adversities. The girls riding Royal Enfield, KTM also got me ❤️ Secondly, the hospitality of the people in general captured my heart. I have planted the seed of TLAWMNGAIHNA(selfless help to others) in my heart. They are always ready to help you. And at the end of conversation, they always bid farewell in a very sweet way like Chaw eitui aw( have food) Aniyo aw(adiéu). If you ever lost your way, just ask someone and they'll lead you ro your Home. Thirdly, the food taste. There's more bowls and plates in the table than in the entire house 😂. I mean, they have so many vegetables and meats to eat that you gets confused what to eat, I really like Sanpiaw, sawchhiar, vaipa mix etc.... And not to mention the delicious Kuhva 😋🤤 after every meal.... Although, initially it was very challenging to learn the mizo language but with the passage of time I have learned the basic conversations. Because of the similarity in looks, during my first year, they thought I was a mizo too and would ask me in mizo which I had no answers 😅 and I learnt to say MIZO KANILO(I am not a mizo). Ad mizoram is a Christian state, it helpe me elevate my spritual life to a next level as well. People here are so religious as most of them are Christian but that doesn't mean they don't welcome other religions... Among Gospel singers, I like Hlimhlimii, Betsy, Daduahii, Pu Zarmawiia and from Lengzem, I like The Cassette Rachael Lalnunkimi.. Mizos are so advanced in music and in sports and I have had the privilege to share the same football grounds with my college friends at Lena and Thuamluaiaa field respectively ❤️ And lastly, not to mention the shop without shop owners. They just keep the things in the roadside and the customer will take what he likes and keep the money in the designated place. The shop which is run by trust and faith. Although I have had a very warm and pleasant experience in Mizoram, I have also witnessed some drawbacks: Let me start with Religion again because I feel it's important (for me). It's good to wear good dress in Sunday but I felt that some mizos(especially the girls) take more than 5hours to get ready for the church service. They put on more make-up. It feels as if Sunday was some sort of fancy dress competition. Some of them act in such a way that they're the most Holiest person on earth. Sunday meant a ride out for the youth which also saw in many young souls leaving earthly early. Hypocrisy level are also there between Sunday and working days. I was also cheated several times by taxi driver but I think it used to happen all over the globe. I also felt that they have less concerned about non-tribals or people from mainland or Vais or based on appearance. It also saddens me to know that the state which has second highest literacy rate in India tops the chart in HIV AIDS. Pre-marital sex is also very much prevalent. But it is also common in every society. So let me stop here 😅 I would like to apologise if I hurt the sentiments of the Mizos in my comment deliberately or undeliverately. I ask for your understanding🙏🙏 mahse I'm speaking this from my own point of view maww... The Goodness weighs more than the bad and if I were to rate my experience in Mizoram on the scale of 1-10, I would give 9😁 Iam thankful for all my Mizo friends and I'll really miss This place as this(2021 June) is my last stay in Mizoram. I shall never forget your TLAWMNGAIHNA ❤️❤️❤️ Aw Vawikhat ka sawi aw..... I'm tihpalh aw if I hurt anyone from my comment section 🙏🙏 Chuan...... Lastly but not the least, May God continue to bless Mizoram to serve the nation in the form of missionaries. Once again I'm sorry if I hurt anyone, it's not my intention aw 😐😐🙏🙏 KA LAWM LUTUK E 😅🙏🙏

@@FACE-PROFILERZ We Mizo are the not the only Mizo, we Mizo are a part of Chin-Kuki-Mizo community, the term Mizo is a word used for people who live in Mizoram that are a part of the Chin-Kuki-Mizo. In 1990, some of us Chin-Kuki-Mizo started practicing Judaism and some Chin-Kuki-Mizo have started claiming that they are the lost tribes of Israel and strangely even the Jews also have accepted it that we are one of their lost tribes since we have many similarities with their traditions and cultures. Just saw this vlog and so glad people are starting to explore Mizoram! But it's a bit pitiful as it looks like you didn't explore the main parts of Aizawl >< Just the local vendors and bazaar 🥹 Next time you come, do visit the cafes and the forest hotspots and sceneries! I'm sure you'll have a way more different view 😁
