They're in my top 20 of the greatest bands!!! I don't say something like that easily. But the vast amount of output plus the variety of their sound from really hard to dark to calming to beautiful (sometimes in one album or in one single song) makes them one of the best bands on the planet. And stil they're relatively unknown and have to work so hard to even make the release of an album possible...And they do it anyway, they put out music even if it's not easy for them. That's true artistry!

Just a heads up to Swans fans.. yesterday I went on the Young God Records site to purchase Filth.. Unfortunately it's currently out, but I did find a hell of a deal. You can purchase The Glowing Man (it's a 2x CD set) for $5 right now (Feb 2021). Most of the other Swans albums start at about $17 on CD, so it's a steal. Go snag one for yourself!
