Michael Gira is wonderfully talented! This album takes me back to 1992 when I had the pleasure of seeing SWANS. Jarboe was still with him.

Swans might be my gateway into folk music... This one is a truly beautiful and majestic song that precedes post-rock by about half a decade. Always ahead of their time-- one of the best bands I know.
