The title song, “Joshilaay Woh Shehzaade Hai Zameen Ke" (mentioned on the LP record as "Joshilaay Shahjaade Hein"), was the last song of Kishore Kumar and R. D. Burman collaboration. A fabulous song, unfortunately, didn’t come with normal recording quality compared to the rest of the album. At times it sounds good but overall most of you may not find the sound quality up to the mark. So, please bear with it. Not sure if the digital version of this song is having the same issue or not. The beautiful motivational lyrics were given by Javed Akhtar. The song was picturized on-screen on the film’s lead actors Anil Kapoor and Sunny Deol. The movie is loosely based on the 1965 movie For a Few Dollars More. The soundtrack on LP record was released in 1985, but the film got released only in 1989 as the initial director Shekhar Kapur left the movie midway. Sibte Hasan Rizvi took over and completed the film. The movie is loosely based on the 1965 movie For a Few Dollars More. Thrilling song to the ears and eyes from college days. Repeat mode towering voice , lyrics and of course music. Watch the locations and camera work in video of this song. MR films has messed up with Shekhar Kapoor and he hardly shoot 5-10% movie otherwise this movie could have evergreen movie like Sholay. Target toh vaisi hi film banane ka tha. Seems need to edit my description with "last released song". Yes, Mithun-Moonmoon starer MIL GAYEE MANZIL MUJHE's soundtrack also came in 1985 like Joshilaay. It could be the last recorded song. Thanks for your input, even I too was a bit in doubt. Joshilaay had a delayed release in 1989 which perhaps make it as the last released song of KK-RD collaboration.
