I would say that this song helped me stay sane when I visited my mom whitch some time in the past, almost led me to suicide. I know it sounds weird, and you don't usually hear people talking about how low they went but becouse so little did, everything that can reach this level of darkness feels remarkable due to it's familiarity.

So here's my thoughts on the EP : - Precursor : Pretty nice Intro ! You set the atmosphere quite well and the fact that it is 2 minutes long is a bonus. I'm used to 1-1.30 minutes intro so Precursor being longer works as a better setup to the rest of the EP. - Kill Me : Classic SWARM so it's good ! But the beginning of the 2nd drop is something else. I love the way it switches up to 140 BPM ! Just wish it was a bit longer. - Alone : Funny thing I have the exact same thoughts as for Kill Me. - Fear : Yes, that's what I wanted : a longer drop with higher BPM. It is so freaking great ! The rest is just is typically your style and you know what i think about it ;) . - Pretend : Again it's a great song with a better 2nd drop, but i'm starting to see a trend about my thoughts of your songs and I'm a little concerned. More on that at the general review. - This Is The End : Did I say I love classic SWARM ? But this track is also making my concern a bit bigger. - General Review : So, my thoughts on the EP ? I really like it !! It's dark and it bangs. But my concern is that whenever you go for that SWARM type drop at around 100 BPM there's never something really different from all other tracks of this style. To me who loves your style thr's no problem with that, but for eventual newcomers to your music, they could be repulsed by the repetitiveness of your music. So when you go for something different (like the 140 BPM drops or the really slow part in Pretend), that's what i feel is the highlights and better parts of the EP, but there's just not enough of that ; an entire song with 140 BPM would be so cool. So that's it for my review, I really wanted to give you my exact thought on it because for me a review, even whith negative point, when it's constructive, it is always a good thing for an artist to know what his public likes and dislikes and the main part : WHY they do or do not like something so the artist can improve. Anyway, this is the end for me (see what I did there ?). So I wish all of you a happy 2019 and full of music, whether you are producing or listening to it.

I would actually disagree. The 90 bpm songs like Fear & Pretend allow for much more emotion and are filled with instruments like strings that make the drops harder because of them

It’s not about the BPMs in the end, just the overall structure I think. Fear is 155BPM all of the way through, and pretend is 100. Kill Me is 140 but when it’s at halftime it still sounds like midtempo even though it’s dubstep tempo, so its really about the end result :)
