Funny how all the people accusing these students of being woke robots also seem to think that the whole point of college is to get professional training to go be a corporate robot. Attitudes like that used to make me mad; now I just feel sorry for them. And by they way, graduates of Swarthmore are doing just fine thanks and have major leadership roles in government, academia, philanthropy, journalism - and business.

Can you explain what that pronoun thing they were saying was about? Honestly, I don't understand
@laniejean66183 жыл бұрын
Mark Smith A lot of people share pronouns these days so other people don’t have to assume. It’s especially for the inclusion of trans and non-binary people, whose outward appearance might not be traditionally “obvious” for specific pronouns or gender identities.

Some of these liberal arts colleges are going under due to high tuition and the fact that some of these schools aren't practical. Many students are attending state colleges.

Seems really ridic to say your pronouns in this context (a video tour of the campus) when NO ONE is EVER gonna talk to them let alone give a rat's ass what pronoun applies. Robots.

Couldn’t possibly go to a school with this pronoun nonsense, I prefer people just be who they are…a man or a woman. It’s a shame because the campus is beautiful!
@hoangly85573 жыл бұрын
good choice. Swarthmore probably doesn't want someone who is ignorant about other people's identities either
