Synopsis :
Durdhara tries to escape from Chandragupta’s captivity and she almost makes it possible until Chandragupta saves her from drowning. Meanwhile, Dhananand reaches the said place from midnight awaiting his sister’s release. Chandragupta makes Durdhara aware of Dhananand’s crime of killing his father but she denies to believe. Seeing the commoners at the place, Dhananand learns about Chanakay’s plot. Chandragupta keeps the condition of releasing Durdhara in place of Mura.
चंदुर्धरा चंद्रगुप्त की कैद से बचने की कोशिश करती है और वह लगभग इसे तब तक संभव बनाती है जब तक चंद्रगुप्त उसे डूबने से नहीं बचाता। इस बीच, धनानंद अपनी बहन की रिहाई का इंतजार करते हुए आधी रात से उक्त स्थान पर पहुंच जाता है। चंद्रगुप्त दुर्धरा को धनानंद के अपने पिता की हत्या के अपराध से अवगत कराता है लेकिन वह विश्वास करने से इनकार करती है। आम लोगों को जगह देखकर धनानंद को चाणक्य की साजिश के बारे में पता चलता है। चंद्रगुप्त मुरा के स्थान पर दुर्धरा को मुक्त करने की शर्त रखता है।
