ରାତ୍ରି ସମୟରେ ଏକ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନନ୍ଦଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ଆସି କହିଛି କି ତାର ସନ୍ତାନ ହଜି ଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ ତାକୁ ଖୋଜିବା ପାଇଁ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ମାଗିଛି। କୃଷ୍ଣ ବଜାରରୁ ଏକ ଶିଶୁକୁ ନେଇ ଆସିଛନ୍ତି। ଶିଶୁକୁ ପାଇ ସେହି ନାରୀ ବହୁତ୍ ଖୁସି ହେଇଛନ୍ତି କିନ୍ତୁ ଗୋକୁଳରୁ ଲତା ନାମକ ଜଣେ ନାରୀ ଆସି କହିଛନ୍ତି କି ସେହି ଶିଶୁଟି ତାଙ୍କର ଅଟେ। ତାପରେ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଡକାଯାଇଛି ଏବଂ ସେଠାରେ ମଧ୍ୟ କୃଷ୍ଣ ନିଜ ଚତୁରତା ସାହାଯ୍ୟରେ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ କରିଛନ୍ତି କି ଶିଶୁଟି ପ୍ରକୃତରେ କାହାର।

During the night a woman comes to Nand's house and says that her baby is lost, please help me to find him. Then Krishna picks up a child from the street. The woman becomes very happy and tells Nand this is my child. But Lata, a woman from Gokul comes and says that this is her son, and Nand comes in doubt. The next morning the gram panchayat sits, and both the women are face to face. Like always, this time also Krishna's cleverness gets to know which woman the child belongs to.
