@@TheSalonLife I used Sally Hansen insta-dry "On MyGrey". My go-to is Sally Hansen miracle gel "All chalked up". Both very nice muted lavenders that read like a neutral.

Maybe Cherry Apple is for people who don't want to wear something called Oxblood on their nails! Arrowhead looks like hot chocolate to me. I liked Berry Boudoir and Viviant the best. Are they also available in the Vinylux line?

Reg. Cherry Apple.... you know as I was typing the timestamps I thought the same thing.... As a vegetarian I would way prefer to wear Cherry Apple ;) I think all the colors should be available in Vinylux but we don't have them all. I have lots of Vinylux colors but not all

Thanks for your beautiful swatches. Arrowhead does not look poopy at all. I would call it a mauvey grey. Did you know scientific research shows women in general have the ability to perceive a greater range of color and subtle shade differences than men. But if that client chose to marry a boorish oaf, and live to please the oaf, I guess she has to stick with red polish.

Hey guys! Happy Hump Day. Thanks for another great vid. Anna, I looked up the diff between Shellac and Lacquer. So Shellac has to be cured with a lamp and Lacquer does not. I was wondering because I was wondering how the heckins you get so much time to work with the Shellac. Lacquer dries so darn fast for me since I've been doing super light coats like you said and I have no time at all to work the Lacquer before it dries. It's frustrating, So, long story short, does Shellac stay wet forever until its cured? As for colors, I guess Signature Lipstick would be my pick and the 'poopy brown' doesn't look that bad, until you brought it outside. Then it looked like it had been left in the sun forever and faded. I'm still looking for a red that is so dark it almost looks black, but sill has a bit of red in it. I thought Rouge Noiir was it, but it wasn't even close to the color I have in my mind. - Hugs

Hi Laurent! Yes, Shellac is a gel polish (Shellac is a brand name of a gel polish made by CND). It has to be cured for it to set and dry. There are many many gel polishes on the market but not to many “feel” like Shellac. Shellac has some solvents so as you are working with it they start to evaporate so although you have way more time to work with it it does start to set up as you are working with it so it gives you some resistance like a normal polish. Some gel polishes don’t have solvents at all and they don’t set up until you place them under the UV lamp. Which can be a good thing and a bad thing. The nice thing about Shellac is that it stays “crisp” near the edges and it stays in place. Many other gel polishes will keep moving as you are working with them so they move away from the edges. It’s a matter of preference though. Also gel polishes are usually thicker than polishes (laquers) so in order to get them applied nice and thin you have to apply more pressure as you are applying them and kind of like “stretch” them. In regards to the black- red, what do you think about OPI Lincoln Park After Dark? It has a more of a purple hue though. Have good rest of your day. It’s after 10pm here so it’s night - night time for us 😴

Yes! I still apply them in 2 coats but they can be applied super thin. Perfection!

Hey Sherri, I tend to be a bit more reserved for the CND swatching videos. They are more about the swatch and education and less about the entertainment part of things. So we have people that enjoy the Watch me work for the education, relaxation, ASMR, therapy, vibes. The CND swatches series is for the education and less of the funnies. Then there is the lives and other content we post that is more of the "edutainment". You get nuggets of good information and the banter/humour. It's our way of trying to cater to a broader spectrum of people. Happy Friday! - MSL
