I got the neckband OD green version last week to fit under my combat helmet. Just used mine this past weekend on a FTX with the army. Performed REALLY well both on the range and in jungle lanes with close quarter weapons firing. I could hear my fireteam partner through all the noise but they had trouble hearing me (goes to show you how good the electronic noise augmentation is on this set). Even when we were in between tasks, I kept mine on and was able to carry on conversations without any issue whatsoever. In fact, I was able to hear whispers 20-40metres away no problem at the highest ambient noise settings. Highly recommended! Your hearing does not come back once you lose it, so spend the money and protect yourself!
