I love it! That works! Love the Flames... I was looken to created a swing arm for mine just to move to the side for over head hoist. Don't have hoist yet just in the plans. Thanks for sharing, your nice set up! :)

The Samson 510 model is mounted in the middle of one side and it swings side to side.

So David- I am wondering how you got the Y axis to register home on the pipe cutter with no gantry to hit the limit switch? -Christian

The pipe cutting software sets the home position at wherever you start the pipe cutting process. It uses the encoder on the motor to rotate the pipe to whatever circumference it calculates based on the pipe diameter you enter, up to 13.5" There is no limit switch used with the pipe cutter.

Nikola Boskovic you can go to the PlasmaCam.com website and look at the DHC2 with all the options on it including the pipe cutting kit

Don't buy the pipe cutter unless you can afford either an additional $2,700.00 for a spare gantry assembly and a spare carriage assembly, or at least $1,300.00 for a spare gantry assembly, then moving the carriage as he does in this video.
