The safest base is when you place a 6 by 6 and place 4 double doors on each side and in the middle a ladder that goes up, make a distance between ground and the 1st floor around 4 5 blocks and then just expand outwards so stuff cannot climb up. Plus since you have 4 double doors on each side it doesn't matter where you are coming from you can get in without issues. Also a little recommendation is to make door chambers, its when you have 2 doors and a little 2 block gap between them in a tunnel, so you can lock shit in there.

It would be amazing but sadly I don’t think they’re going to. I noticed in this video that they are purposely not advancing quick enough because doing things like standing in the complete middle of no where, keeping their house exposed, not gathering resources like food quick enough, it keeps them vulnerable in the open world. Vulnerability makes them more susceptible to getting chased or attacked which brings them more views (jump scares, getting scared, etc.). It’s why Swayle continuously stands out in the middle of the open and always says “what is that?” even though it’s so obvious that the noises are from the monsters and he leaves himself to be vulnerable to attack. It sucks because I genuinely enjoyed watching his vids at first, but the “playing dumb” act is getting old. I would totally love to see them actually try to survive. Maybe a 100 days hardcore in this mod pack would be cool from Swayle, but I don’t think Swayle ever would.
