Kevin Hart is funny but he is only a big star because he is everywhere you turn. A new movie every 6 months, on TV every week and doing things like the NBA celebrity all star game. Just because he is on everything doesn't mean he is the best. There just isn't much else out there in the way of comedy besides Kevin Hart. If Dave Chapelle and Kevin Hart dropped a movie, a TV show and did a live show at the same time as each other, Chapelle is going to beat out Hart. Why? So many rappers now days who do nothing but talk about violence in each of their songs, and teenagers look up to this kind of music. Some rappers feel the need to talk about the drug game as if their the reason it exist. Talk about how being involved in selling drugs can ruin a life and how one can move on from it, despite it being hard b/c one has to provide for his or her's family.

Problem is some people who don't live it glorify selling drugs like that's all they know selling young/naive listeners a false dream and there are some who actually live that life and are literally expressing their self through music. There are definitely Hip Hop rappers/artists who make uplifting music but it either doesn't catch the airwaves cos it's not a good song or it is but just doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Plus it looks like promoting certain images seems more of a priority than promoting positive motivational imagery and music. The most important thing behind any action is the motive... Why?

Ok so the question is: If it were not for hip hop would black people be better off? Would not having hip hop give us better communities, schools, job opportunities, less violence, better families?
