She is well known she has nothing to prove. Even when She was married to Bowie they were so low key not making noise just doing their thing. Those who possess self confidence and know their worth have no need to make noise. It's really up to the human race to catch with what she is doing. I pray she finds love again at some point in her life. I know it hard to top a Gem like Bowie.

Iman was the right Black woman, in the right place, at the right time in history. Donyale Luna and Naomi Sims are the pioneer empresses of Black models in the 20th century, but they were too soon: the industry and the public were not quite ready for them in the 60's era of American civil rights unrest and protests. They were before their time, and never enjoyed the groundwork they laid for future generations in their own careers. By the time Beverly Johnson, Iman, Bethann Hardison, Billie Blair, Grace Jones and Pat Cleveland stepped onto the scene, the door had been widened (even just a few inches). So that by the time the 80's and 90's came, the next generation of Black models could not only run, but soar with the eagles.
