Snoop's story on Pac towards the end was captivating and his articulation was flawless. I like how Sway just gave an occasional un hun and just let Snoop go on. Had this been Ebro or them other fools from Hot 97, they would've interrupted him 7 to 8 times.

This is one the best interviews I have ever seen in my life, Sway asked some great questions. Also I have always had respect for Uncle Snoop and seeing him come from the 187 on a undercover cop Snoop Doggy Dogg, to the grown and mature man we see today and that will never change. You can tell that Snoop is still scarred with that situation involving Pac and its evident when Sway asked Snoop when was the last time he saw Tupac and where was he when Pac was shot in Vegas? You can tell he had to compose himself because that was and still is a touchy situation for him especially when he detailed that his brotha basically ignored him until his death. When Snoop said that Afeni told him that her baby loved him and she loves him and all honesty it brought tears to my eyes because thats a deep moment between two people. Its nothing worse then ending a friendship on bad terms especially when your best friend passes away afterwards. If he could take it all back, I think Snoop would have told Pac how he felt about Biggie face to face rather than saying it on the air then they could have address whatever issues they had internally.Much love for Snoop for shedding the light on everything he dealt with from dealing with the incident at the Source awards, to him talking with Biggie and how Biggie always loved Pac after Pac passed away, to the conflict with Pac after the Angie Martinez interview, and finally his circle of emotions when Pac passed away and his reaction of Passing out and throwing up after speaking to his brotha for the last time. A powerful interview and one that everyone who are a fan of these three hip hop legends should see.
@932Kevy10 жыл бұрын
Forreal man, I felt the same exact way when he spoke on the situation. Snoop is real strong for shedding the light on what happened.
@RandallWI10 жыл бұрын
exactly, and the fact that he still has such a vivid memory after almost 20 years goes to show all of us that he is still finding it hard to believe that his brotha is gone from this earth, in the prime of his career and live. God Bless Snoop, don't give a fuck what anybody says about him, he will always be known as Big Snoopy D.O Double G from the L.B.C repping 213 until the day he d.i.e. This Man is a living Legend and when he speaks on Events like that or any other social issues, we should listen because he knows what he is talking about.

I could feel the emotion in every word in Snoop's voice when he was talking about 2Pac. Playing devil's advocate though, I get mixed feeling about the whole 2Pac/Snoop falling out. On the one hand, Snoop made the right choices by defusing himself from the beef, as he made it out of it alive, is well respected by his peers, and has a beautiful family today. However, I don't know if I would use the word loyal to describe his relationship with 2Pac. Despite his friendship with Puffy and Biggie, 2Pac is your closer friend and label mate at Death Row, and to be quite honest, he didn't even know at the time whether Biggie, Puffy or Bad Boy actually had anything to do with 2Pac's shooting at Quad Studio's in New York, so claiming on the radio that you love them and they are you friends was premature, and it makes absolute sense why 2Pac would react the way he did to Snoop if he believed they played some involvement. Then to go back around 2Pac and act like you're surprised he would be upset with what he did? 2Pac was actually the bigger man between 2Pac and Snoop to simply cut Snoop off as apposed to going to war with him too.
@ellbee937 жыл бұрын
That's a really excellent point. No one else is mentioning that 2Pac's emotions were wholly justified. If it were me, I'd probably be the same way.

Jack Raincloud just in case you didn’t know snoop said in an interview that Pac encouraged him to marry his wife cause at the time he was cheating on her
@RedceLL19786 жыл бұрын
Keep in mind Snoop was jealous of Pac because Pac had death row's production weight behind him and snoop wasn't selling records at the time. Snoop didn't like being in Pac's shadow. Neither did Dre and Dre and Snoop were the founders of death row. Meanwhile Pac was on the West coast reppin West coast when he came from Harlem and the east coast was thinking why's he over there screaming west side. So basically the only person who had snoop's back was Suge despite everyone pointing their fingers saying Suge had Pac killed. Wasn't the case. Pac was suge's golden boy. Pac was carrying death row's record sales on his back. Nobody had Pac's back except suge and the piru bloods. That connects to the story of why Pac attacked Orlando Anderson at the MGM Grand in Vegas. Anderson was a crip who had just snatched a death row chain from the neck of suge's associate Travon Lane 3 weeks before that. And it was Travon who pointed Orlando Anderson out seconds before Pac punched him in the face. 3 hours later Orlando killed Pac. Meanwhile the media and the hip hop community thought it was biggie and, chances are, that's what got biggie killed.

Pac probably felt snoop dogg wasnt riding for him no more before he died. They was close but when the eastcoast and westcoast beef popped off snoop didnt want no part in it. Snoop was living his life faster because he had kids to look after. So I can kinda understand why he didnt want to get involved with the eastcoast and westcoast thing. In the interview he seemed hurt about it. I bet if he could go back he would change some thing to make sure pac was never killed but I still believe snoop was riding for pac it was just too dangerous for snoop to be on the front line because he wanted to be there for his kids and wife.
@nuthinbutj41516 жыл бұрын
Radar Rubenstein a Crip OG came out and said his nephew shot and killed pac in retaliation cause they jumped him in the lobby after the Tyson fight. Pac was at end with Snoop cause he was good friends with Biggie before the beef and stayed his boy throughout the beef.

Radar Rubenstein couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve watched a lot of interviews documentaries, you can just see snoops body language. Jealous and dislike for Pac. Not to mention Suges snake self. Funny how they didn’t want anything to do with Suge who is 2 feet to left. Why shoot em both? Suge didn’t get a visual?? No one had security, yeah right. Suge paid a cop to take him out. You never let somebody get shot. If Big, Puff and Jay-z was in the studio that night and knew somebody was trying let up Pac for the twist they should have warned him, whether Pac created the situation or not. I would not call somebody my home boy who let my other friend get shot. That's why Pac was mad and Snoop should have known better. He just wanted to sell records so tried to tell people there is no beef here, buy my album.

Peter Black ....read your bible man...anyone who does not accept Jesus and what he preached cannot enter his kingdom. Biggie and Tupac were farrr from god. What is it worth to gain the world only to forfeight your soul. No one famous who died untimely is where you think.
