A really good trip bro part of it in my back yard so to speak. Llanthony is a fascinating place - they liked it remote back in the day. Well, we do now. Enjoyed the walk up - I never tire of the area. Hey, that was Herefordshire you were looking at East. I agree full of beautifulness wherever you look. Well, good going coast and all. Take care and all the best. Mark (Hereford)

Good day, greetings from South Africa. Your Wales trip looks lovely - both those sites are stunning. I have a SWB Caddy too but have never slept in it - our camping is normally a full family of 4. But after seeing your vid I took my tape measure, moved the seat forward and measured. I'm 6ft1 and I reckon I could sleep there without too much trouble. Given me all sorts of ideas. Cheers.

Hello there. The Caddy gives so much flexibility and options. It is small enough to not look like a camper van in car parks, at the roadside and other areas whilst also allowing trips away for one or two people. Other than this short trip we and a friend also did 10 days across France and 10 days across the North coast of Scotland. Loved both trips and proves you can spend a great deal of time inside one without going mad! Happy travels my friend and enjoy the adventure.

You could easily sleep 2 inside and then add a rooftop tent on the roof! :-) Greetings from Johannesburg!

Do you need to do the injectors? 2k? When do you need to do them, and do you need to?
@simonlala23963 ай бұрын
Hi - Sorry for the delayed response I've only just seen your question. I had the van as a work vehicle for 3 years driving in and around London every day without an issue. Then I bought the van for personal use and sods law on one of my first travels an injector went... then 2 weeks later the next one... then 2 weeks later the next one... so I also had the 4th one done to avoid waiting at the roadside for the inevitable..... SO do they need to be done? No not necessarily..... but I'd recommend if one goes to replace the others. Or even better if you have the money buy a spare and keep it in the van so the AA or RAC recovery person could fit it if ever required. My opinion for what its worth is that this appears to be known fault and really VW should have recalled these to have the injectors replaced, but I guess individually owners just replace them and get on with it. Since I've had them replaced I've done 3 x 2000 mile trips aroudn Europe without so much as a blip... the van runs like a dream.
