I hate the fact that words like kill or suicide are so bad to use that we have to resort to censoring online to the degree that amazes me. We have those words that MEAN what they say, we don’t need to further cover it up like we shouldn’t be allowed to say it! Remember when videos had warning about what was going to be talked about? it's the softies who think that everybody else should think and act exactly how they want them to, which is 'nice and tolerant and not mean', which is a far fetch. the internet is supposed to be for adults. since when do grown mature adults get offended at proper words from the English vocabulary being used correctly? and why are they trying to cater to kids? cartoons exist for a reason, children's tv programs exist for a reason. children shouldn't even be allowed on YT, let alone the internet itself as a whole. the whole issue is really quite ridiculous... and this isn't even touching the thing about curse words. that's apples and oranges. people should be able to properly express their thoughts and ideas using REAL english vocabulary instead of being forced to "censor" the word, when everyone and their CHILDREN know exactly what is being said. absurd.

SMG4 really shows this change really well, I mean like go ahead and watch one of the oldest SMG4 videos like that Mario in Fnaf video (except the original version) it had so many words you can't even say on the platform anymore! and now whenever there's a swear word in the videos now they just get bleeped over even if it's a word that's considered fine. point being, KZbin, it's guidelines, and the viewers of KZbin have changed a whole lot and won't ever stop changing. Which as a content creator myself, is a bit concerning trying to keep up with the times, it is really hard to make a video that the algorithm will recommend to potential viewers because the algorithm can be either really good, or really horrible to work with.
