Legit feel Sweats mood when he was talking about raid wipes. There was a time in Destiny where if a group struggled on a raid, we’d just go “okay, we’ll pick this up tomorrow.” There was an actual time in Destiny where you just couldn’t beat an encounter and pick it up again later and *_that was okay!_* Now it feels like wiping in an encounter meant you and your group was just straight trash tier

It also doesn't help with all these ads about carries for raids and trials. People are so mad whenever you wipe that it gets to a point where you literally have to limit yourself by using a "bad weapon" to actually get a challenge and have fun. My first time doing levi (about the time of warmind), we wiped like 50 times and we had to pick it up on a later date. But, it was still one of the best raid experiences I have ever had and probably ever will have.

LFG until you find really good players that you communicate well with and make a group with them. Or just find a group that has a similar goal, such as getting the enlightened title, and make friends with them and then boom u got a team to do stuff with

I found a funny group of subpar raiders who were great but chose a good time over anything and they became my family now. I'm a moderator in 2 weeks and we are a full clan cause I chose to be active with em in discord even when I didnt play with em. Now they helped me get all the titles and man I love em

Sunsetting exotics is a terrible idea. Izanagi's is an outlier, but it's DPS isn't inherently all that high now that the reload speed got nerfed.

Do not sunset exotics but black list them from certain activity, for example I used to love gambit but know everyone and there mom use Truth and now it is not fun every invasion is a truth rocket doing 90 degree angles to kill me lol

When the reaction you have from beating a raid is, “great more shit loot what a waste of time” or “well that took forever” that’s how you know know there’s a problem. Beating spire for the first time with my dogshit team felt like the greatest triumph of destiny 2. Doing raids feels like an annoyance now. There’s no triumphant yell from everyone in the party just sighs at another run with no exotic.

Not everyone plays this game all day every day Sweat. Most of the playerbase only has a couple hours to play, which leads to less time to grind for halfway decent gear and resources to masterwork that gear. That is why people are upset about sunsetting armor.

@@bubblemelon3204 Did I say weapons? Most people are upset about the armor, since literally every piece of armor fills the same function, just with different stat rolls. A very good armor roll will not make you melt a boss, but it sure does help you with your survivability. People do not want to go back to regrinding an entire suit of armor that has taken them months to earn simply because Bungie said that it can't be infused past a certain point. There is no power creep with armor.

Why don't you try an auto loading holster gl with spike and something Polaris lance without oppressive darkness (we won't always have it). Shoot the mag of the gl then swap to Polaris bc it will be crit and polaris doesn't need to reload. Then when you hear the audio que that the gl is loaded, swap back to the gl and repeat

i would like to see a raid boss in which you have to constantly follow it, kinda like shruo chi and riven like mechanics mixed . for example ur split into two teams and u each chase a different boss , when u reach the last room it starts a damage phase and you get to damage both one of the bosses, and the next time you do it , the other boss.

Ive beaten Riven once the proper way cause I wanted to get a clear without using cheeses or anything, the other 100+ completions I have are all some sort of cheese. Rockets first then GL's and now Swords.

There is such an easy way to fix riven. Force the player to stay on there side via the plate. Make it to where if you stand on tree plate, you can't go through crystal's door and vise versa. And remove the "joining allies" spot in the entrance to the main encounter room. Easy af to fix, bungie is just slow...

Get better homies? Is that even possible? As a solo player I'm decent enough at the game where I can competently solo Shattered Throne and Pit of Heresy(which are plenty difficult while solo), but when it comes to finding people to play with, LFGs are the ONLY way for me to find anyone willing to raid, and even then they're either impatient, lie about knowing the mechanics, or just plain rude to other members of the fireteam.
