You should also tell us the thickness of wool and which needles are you using for these measurement. Same measurements will not go for 10 number needle and also 8 or 7 number needle.

Wool or acrylic thickness and needles are the variables here. That's why she left it out. Whatever yarn type you buy, somewhere on it the specifications for the swatch using needle and no of stitches. From that you can calculate. She has given this measurements chart for people with regular figure, not on the fat or skinny side in which case one has to guess a bit and do adjustments on the no of stitches. Without making few mistakes at least, nobody becomes an expert in anything. So buy a yarn of your choice, read the instructions on it, look at the chart and I am sure you will slowly get the hang of it.
