As a Mum myself ( although my family is now grown up) I'm afraid to say I watched that footage with my heart in my mouth. He was wearing socks on a smooth worktop and I know how quickly accidents can happen when you take your eyes off a toddler for even just a second. Thank goodness this time Daxton was safe but I would have moved the step-stool away from the unit while I was doing something else. Trust me, there's nothing like an adventurous toddler with no sense of danger to make you go prematurely grey!!

I have a hard time with the Shaytards because I absolutely loved watching the kids grow and become their own self, but the constant advertisement of Trixin really starts to suck. Why have people stopped watching a lot of t.v? Because of all the commercials and that basically what most of this is. I seriously feel like I'm watching an infomercial sometimes. I dont mind the cute nature box skits/ brand deals (even though I can't cancel my freaking subscription), or like the other day when they literally filmed just them vegging out on it. I think your viewers are glad that you wish to pursue an entrepreneurship opportunity as running a clothing business, but three things should be explained. (1) Again you lack professionalism in your comments and should avoid any impulsive remarks because no one wants to be a customer of a moody business establishment. (2) You do realize this clothing business is mostly successful because of your vlogging channel, so you definitely don't want to lose any loyal subscribers (customers) because Trixin will become nothing if so. (3) Take some business classes or just read some business books because if you neglect your subscribers and cut back vlogging, then the result will only be negative. Here's a business rule 80/20 (80% of company's profit comes from 20% of loyal customers). Listen to the people; they're not hating but expressing their opinions that you seem to have been ignoring recently.

Jay Arriola You realize I only gave him constructive criticism, so he may CONTINUE to be successful because recently I have realized the amount of anger he is provoking in many viewers and subscribers which is not good for him, his job, his family, and even Trixin. Everyone needs feedback, and I only gave it out of care. Plus, reaching success as a businessman is one thing but maintaing success is much more difficult because every business goes through a cycle of success and downfalls, so I gave advice so he may avoid as many downfalls as possible. From an ex shaytards fan who was watching since the days that you were actually dead poor, you've changed. Not saying that money changed you, but you've definitely changed. Most of your fans now who make up approximately 70% of your fan base are probably below the age of 16 with the tendency to buy anything you ask them to. What I'm saying is anyone reading this comment, just jump back to four years in the past and see how shay was then. I've been watching the shaytards since the time shay was just a radio dj while having his marble counter top gig. He was a truly different. I'm sorry shay but promoting trixin at every given time gets obnoxious, it doesn't show that you're "grinding" and working hard or being excited, it just shows that you dont care what your audience thinks because at the end of the day, your new subscribers will buy whatever you want them to, just put your products on camera and let your kids play with them / wear them and give a little closing speech at the end saying how inspired you are about "so and so brand" and how thankful you are. Still, the real issue people have is the poor planning/artistic expression with the company. No one is upset that he's starting a clothing company. No one is upset that he's living out his so called dream with his family and friends. The name, the logo, the designs, everything is very lackluster and if anything extremely overpriced yet they act like it's God's gift to man. Yes, no one is forcing me or anyone else to buy it but we're all entitled to our opinions. Quite frankly we're just stating the obvious. Again, nothing personal against Shay and his family/friends. I admire their energy, etc but the business needs help and so much work and the problem is they don't seem like they're planning to change or even take anything anyone says into consideration. Everyone that isn't glorifying this product seems to automatically be labeled as a "hater" and that's just ridiculous. Granted, there are "haters" but most individuals are simply voicing their concern. Plus, I'm more than positive there are people in the comments/subscribed to them that offer quality critiques/feedback because they have experience in said area. Shay is shown to be "at work" at the Trixin headquarters, playing basketball with all the young guys while his parents are taking care of his older kids and Colette is in LA for the mom's view. Brock was actually at Casey's house cause Casey being the responsible father that he is, was watching his children and Brock while his wife is also away in LA. I feel like Trixin has just become a reason for Shay to get away from his family. He's always down there doing "work" which is just hanging out with the bros. I feel so bad for Colette

Hey Shay! Just wanted to leave this comment! I started watching in the beginning of 2013 when my friend was taking missionary discussions. I feel in love with your family! I was baptised in November 2013. I now teach valiants 8 in primary in my ward. I'm a happy YSA. I'm also a family history consultant. I tracked my family history back to Adam and Eve. And most importantly I'm about to put my papers in to serve a full time mission. I'm so grateful for the positive influence your family played in helping me discover the gospel and help me return my Heavenly Father. I am sick of seeing awful and negative comments about Shay! I'm not being funny why can't you all be proud for him? He is proud of his family business... Who wouldn't be? So if he wants to share it with us he can! If you don't like it just unsubscribe, there is no point in commenting with hate! Give the man a break! And to the people who are saying stuff about Colleen saying she is boring or she should concentrate on Daxton more it's obviously hard to vlog (which is purely for you) and be a mum and work at the same time! Do you ever think that your mean comment could ruin one of their days? What would you think if one of the other kids read your mean comment? How do you think it will make them feel? Think about what you type in the comments! I am so proud of the shaytards and I always will be! I'm just sick of seeing people trying to put them down when they are being successful there is no need. I just wanted to say this. Shay you motivate me so much. I only agree with my mom to go to school because I know when I get home I can count on watching the vlog. I love this family and I can appreciate that from past success Shay can not only follow his dreams, but also work with his wonderful family. That being said, I’m not sure posting Trixin footage to this channel (whether intentionally promotional or not) is the best route to take. Your current buyers are the viewers of this channel and isolating them might be a mistake. Maybe the Trixin channel link in the end slate and a shoutout is enough to get the viewers interested in Trixin involved!

I love you shay and family, and I wish I felt comfortable rocking the trixin clothing because i would like to support you. Personally, I HATE wearing clothing with logos and brand names plastered all over it, and I wish you made some simpler designs that didn't have the brand all over it. I know you're trying to start something and Im so proud, but I think you could find greater success with this company if you made clothes that weren't about the logo or the name. Great concept though!
