A decent roster for the U.S., who were still very much developing a corps of top level pros in the wake of Lake Placid. Two players, Housley and Chelios, would play for the 1996 Canada Cup winning team. But where was Pat Lafontaine, who had made his debut for the Islanders the previous spring?
