Every time I make this, the top (or the bottom, when I turn the cake out of the pan) has a pronounced dome, so it doesn’t sit flat. Maybe turn the temp down and bake longer? Or shield the bottom of the pan so it doesn’t get all the heat? Any ideas?

Probably a bread pan, if you have one of the skinny longer ones it may work better. I've never tried it but I don't see why it wouldn't workl!

Gamma would put parchment paper in the pan no oil or flour and took it out immediately and put it on a rack! Just saying!

I make this often because it’s sooo good, however my one issue is, once I put it onto my dish, the bottom wants to stick a little when I slice it and I don’t know unless it’s not completely cooled down . I sprinkle powdered sugar over mine.

@@dabbylynn it will stick more and more as the pan ages. The only other way is parchment paper!! Nuff said.
