Don't get me wrong, for many years I thought that the sound of "Don't You Worry Child"-like tracks were classified as progressive house. But, actually, this was a big marketing trick that surpassed the true progressive house sound, now well represented in Beatport for example. "Then what is the so-called true progressive house you're saying?" Let me tell you... this sound exists for over 20 years, and the forefront acts of the genre being Sasha, John Digweed and Nick Muir, and later many other legendary acts developing this sound such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Henry Saiz, Eric Prydz (as Pryda), Sebastien Leger, Martin Roth, Jerome Isma-ae, Jeremy Olander many others. Nowadays you can find new prolific artists that are making these sounds on labels like Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, Lost Miracle, Sudbeat, Meanwhile, Soundteller and many many others. The artists I highly recommend you to check out are Guy J, Khen, Cid Inc., Alex O' Rion, GMJ & Matter, Kamilo Sanclemente, RIGOONI, Tonaco, Sebastian Sellares and Dmitry Molosh.
