I feel like these draws would be more exciting if there were more prizes that get higher. Like $1k for the winner, 500 for the finalist, a little less for semi final exits, less for quarters, R16 and nothing for group stage exits. Mainly because the way it's set up now, you're only invested if you get one of the 4-5 favorites, everyone else isn't rly gonna cheer for their picks knowing they won't win it, whereas if there were more prizes like that for each round, I think people would actually root for the 'deader' teams as well

Well, they would have to increase the total prize pool a lot to do that. If the total prize remained 1000, it would have to be something like: 250+2×125+4x65+8x30 250 for winner + 125 for finalist etc

They could also make it so for each round you can choose to either keep the current cash prize and not continue, or not keep the cash but continue to hope your team wins more. So if your in the ro16 and you get $50 for making it that far, you can choose to either stop there and keep the $50 or continue for the next prize but can’t keep the $50. So winning in the ro16 would get you the next prize ($200 for quarter finals for example) but if your team loses you don’t leave with any money. And the price keeps increasing. Idk they could have way more fun with this 😂 unless they don’t have the funds
